THE ARTIST
JULIE A. DANIELS IS A CREATIVE ARTIST, BASED IN CORNWALL, WORKING IN MIXED MEDIA.
HER PIECES ARE IMAGINATIVE AND CONTEMPORARY INTERPRETATIONS OF CORNISH SEASCAPES AND COASTAL LOCATIONS.
Informed by her background in textile design, clean lines, plaster relief, and signature textural seas, make her work distinctive, beautiful, and unique.
Ten years ago Julie began using various painting techniques to capture the coastal places she loves.
Communicating the beauty of her surroundings by taking elements, and converting them into
delicate circles of colour and texture; thereby creating her own sophisticated style.
Alongside new pieces, series of works -Sea circles, White lines, and Lifebuoy continue to develop and expand, both in scale and locations...
Her work has been widely exhibited in Cornwall (including Falmouth Art Gallery) and,
most recently, Brick Lane Gallery, London
